Kimberley Alpine Resort
The Kimberley Nordic Club trail network features 600 acres (235 ha) of skiable terrain with 26 km (16 mi) of groomed double tracked trails. Other trails include a 3 km (2 mi) long loop for night skiing. For those new to nordic skiing, Kimberley offers the Discover Cross Country Skiing program that includes a 30-minute orientation session.

Fernie Alpine Resort
Cross country skiing enthusiasts can tour one of the self-guided paths, or arrange for a tour and lessons at the Fernie Alpine Resort. Lessons focus on technique and include a mountain heritage tour. The trail itself is approximately 10 km (6 mi) long and follows a figure eight pattern.

Kimberley Nordic Centre
The Kimberley Nordic Centre maintains a number of double track trails of varying degrees of difficulty and length, as well as a lit night skiing loop, all in and around Kimberley. They offer children and adult cross-country skiing lessons, as well as organize clubs such as the B.C. Rabbits and Kimberley Nordic Racers. Events such as Nordicfest, Kootenay Cup Races and the Iron Legs quadrathalon are held here.
