Skookumchuck Parks & Gardens

Located between Radium Hot Springs and Cranbrook, the Whiteswan Lake Provincial Park is a popular destination for day trips, hiking, fishing and natural hot springs. The park offers a picnic area and boat launch as well as numerous hiking trails to wildlife viewing stations, while Whiteswan and Alces Lakes are stocked annually with rainbow trout. Lussier Hot Springs, meanwhile, is located along the forestry road near the park's entrance and features a handful of undeveloped, uncommercialized natural hot pools.

Five lakes are encompassed within Premier Lake Provincial Park. The park is located at the north end of Premier Ridge in the Hughes Mountain Range, just east of Skookumchuk. There is a campground, boat launch, playground, beaches and numerous hiking trails located here.
